Remarks :
The fact that I chose this college because this college was pretty well known among the country. But there wasn't any group discussions or interviews or written tests conducted for the admission. It was completely based on our graduation marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was attracted to magic since my childhood and this course was as near as it gets to magic. The faculty was average. Like some people were too good like whom you can call friend philosopher and guide in a literal sense. But others weren't very good. Some had degrees but knew nothing. The term exams were pretty much timely. There were no complaints there. And some were pretty difficult to crack but some were pretty easy.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opt for any internship yet. But I am looking for it. Although my college didn't provide me with any internship opportunities. I am looking for opportunities myself. Hopefully I find it. That'd be great
Placement Experience :
The placement the college offered was pretty boring or should I say useless. And nobody ever got selected. Everyone had to look for jobs themselves after completing the course. The highest package the college offered was 216000 per annum. And average one was 60000 per annum.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We had 4 semester in total 2 years. Each year contained 2 semesters. And each year we had to pay 5200 rupees and thus in total we had to pay 10400. And there was a scholarship system for rebuking just the tuition fees which 50% of the total fees for only the extremely poor students with justified documents.
Campus Life :
There wasn't any fest in our campus. Being a missionary college and all. Any kind of fest was banned. Only cultural or educational programs. But the Christmas celebration was pretty great. There were a lot of books in the library. Each department had their own personal liberal along with the college library. But the books there were pretty basic. Like the books you need most wasn't there. And classrooms lacked markers for board. The whiteboard was infested. But otherwise very good. There wasn't any special courses for sports of extracurricular activities on campus. But sometimes they conducted some events for several extracurricular activities and we had an yearly annual sports. There wasn't any social groups or clubs or website that was run by students.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opt for a hostel but having friends I knew about the atmosphere of the hostels. The food were pretty bland and very watery or runny whatever. And there was no versatility on the menu. Everyday it was the same. Some students had to skip the hostel food and eat outside. Also the rooms were pretty bad. Windows were broken and the size of the room was pretty small. The registration process took weeks to be conducted. And affordability was pretty low.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
