- At first, there campus is so small that we can't play any outdoor games except basketball
- Sometimes they may call you for rally but they won't force you to come
Remarks :
As i want to prepare about my CA exams i need a college with less attendance and this college is perfect for me. We only visit college when need to appear at our exams. You don't need to have any group discussion, interview and written test, you just have to fill up the form and wait for the list to come and then you will get the admission. There are also no cut-off for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose B. Comm because i am from commerce background and my main focus is to prepare for my CA exams. Faculty of our college is average. There teaching method is also okk but you might have to take extra tution apart from this college. Exams are organised in every 6 months but some time it may delayed or before time. And all the exams for which i have appeared for is not much difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
No, till date we haven't opted any internship but in last year we may have to complete our internship and need to prepare a file on that. And for the internship we will have to find it our college won't be responsible of it.
Placement Experience :
Our college doesn't provide any placement and job opportunities. Our college just provide you the degree you want and side by side you can prepare yourself for any competitive exams. Basically all the students present in this college are either opted CA/CA or CMA and attending their classes.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We generally pay approx 5000/year and the total course fee is around 15000. We have to pay 530rs for examination every semester and no other charges are there. Talking about scholarship, that can be avail only by OBC/SC/ST student living in bengal. If you are OBC/SC/ST from other states you would be considered as a General category
Campus Life :
We don't have our campus life, social life or clubs in college campus. They organize a small fest in every festival like holi durga puja and many more. We have a room where we can play some of indoor games and we also have annual sports day every year. Our college doesn't have any library but we have our IT Lab. There is a college's official website for students where we can get college updates etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college don't provide any hostel, room or mess services. And they don't have any option to apply for hostel rooms. If you want any rented room or PG then you can easily have one because the locality is full of student, PG, and coaching classes. I have written hostel fees as 101 because there is no option for 000.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.

Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
