Remarks :
The college is very renowned. The college offers various courses for various subjects like science and arts. The process for applying to enroll in this college is very easy. You have to apply through wbcap.com website and give this college in top most priority and after that if your name comes on the merit list you will able to get admitted in this college. The merit point will be calculated by your 12th exam top four subjects score.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because the department of botany in ac college is very popular and most of the university toppers comes from this department. The teachers are very helpful. In every 1 month the internal exams happens.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship. But in our course we have to do internship in 5th semester or the 3rd year of college. As such the college does not offer internship. The teachers gave the knowledge about internship.
Placement Experience :
As such the college did not perform any campus placement but the teachers guide the students the right path after doing their graduation. Mainly the students opted for government jobs. There are students who choose to do higher studies in their subject after graduation.

Campus Life :
The campus life is so happening. The fests are conducted in September and February. Various types of books and journals are available in the library. The classrooms are good. There are lots of sports activities to do like cricket, football etc. and ncc is also available in the college. Also there are lots of clubs like drama club, book club, eco club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not stayed in the hostel. So I have no experience about the hostel life but I have listened that the hostel rooms are quite good and food is not very good. The hostel culture is very good and the staffs are also good.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
