Worth the price for psychology course

- The campus is great and too big with full of greenery
- There are various sports and the coach where allotted to each of the sports
- There is also swimming tutor so if one wills they can learn to swim
- The faculties all the professors are two polite and willing to hear the students point of view
Dislikes
- Mainly the management. No one knows exactly where to go for this type of work they takes a lot of time to do certain work
- Hostel mess food is too unhygienic and not at all worth it
Remarks :
Doing the time of admissions there are no such group discussion interview or written test taken by this university, this University takes admission on the basis of 12th marks or we can call it direct admission. The campus is too big and full of greenery . The faculties of our department i.e., Psychology department is too friendly and guides you . Moreover there is also dessertation provided doing the last semester.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are good and guides. They try to understand our point of view too. There are also dessertation provided which were guided by one of the faculty members during the last semester. Also internship facilities opportunities were provided by this university in the bachelors only . The internship is basically depends on your class average CGPA. There is a lab also . There is one general elective paper which you can choose according to your wish which has so many options.
Internships Opportunities :
There was one internship opportunity which was provided by the college itself at Ishwar Shankalpa Kolkata. Ishwar Shankalpa is basically an NGO which deals with homeless mentally challenged people and they were divided in 9 to 10 sub groups each with different different task. As it's an NGOs there is no stipend provided its an unpaid internship I was in Naya Daur programs in which we were asked to write a case studies about the person we met , and also we were told to go along with one of the team members to look over or look after the people in the streets
Placement Experience :
I have a psychology course and in this course in the in bachelor's degree University stone provide placement opportunities we were provided with one internship opportunity and one exposure visit at CINI, Kolkata. My further plan is to go for a masters degree
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is different for the fresher students, like for one batch student the fee is fixed .Suppose for our batch, it was 30000 per semester so for the whole 3 year course it will be 30000 only . Moreover there a various scholarships that are provided by this university which one can avail, firstly there was scholarship based on merit like a 12th marks, second there is a financial scholarship also like if your family income is below this much then you can avail that that scholarship, there is sports scholarship. The only criteria with scholarship has that the student must have more than 75% attendance, the students should not have any backlog and a student CGPA or sgpa should be greater than 6.5.
Campus Life :
Aside earlier the campuses to big and full of grainary there are also sports grounds like cricket and football ground swimming basketball ground badminton court. There is also club. Fest organised by our university , freshers party were given.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for the hostel mess and according to me the food is not was the quality of the money like they are charging too much money and not giving the quality of the food like doing the rainy seasons they are cockroaches inside dal and many small small insects in the sabji in the vegetables. The hygiene is also not well maintained washrooms are a type of okay not too much clean but also not dirty they are quite good enough.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
