- The college has modern buildings well equipped lap and a fast library and the most compatible thing is the railway station is the nearest which Is easier for us to transport.
- Professors are highly qualified approachable and willing to help . Campus is vibrant and full of energy with numerous clubs and even catering to various interest it's easy to find the community and get involved in exciting activities.
Dislikes
- About infrastructure some areas of the campus could use better maintenance and certain faculties like the gym and labs Occasionally face equipment issues or delay in upgrade.
- While knowledge builds the faculty could benefit From more exposure to the latest technologies and teaching methods sometimes words are reliance on traditional teaching that doesn't always resonate with current industry trend.
Remarks :
Modern building , well equipped Labs , a vast library and great sports facilities. About the faculty experienced professor who was approachable and willing to help. Regular seminars and internships that Keep up updated on the latest industry trend. And for the bad aspects some faculties need better upkeep. About the admission process for instance, WBJEE, JEE main followed by JEE advance for top tied institutes. varies every year. Typically above the 75th Percentile.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose computer science and engineering because it marries creativity with problem solving the fields potential to innovate and create impactful solutions fascinated me from the early age it's constantly evolving presenting endless learning opportunities and challenges that excite me. The faculty in our college is highly qualified with many holding ph D's and having extensive industry experience their teaching methods are a mix of traditional lectures hands on labs and project based learning which makes the concept easy to grabs and apply in real world scenarios. Tom exams are held punctually according to the academy calendar the difficulty level varies but they are generally challenging enough to taste a deep understanding of the subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
TCS and Wipro companies Offered under internship with stipend. in TCS internship My role was graduate engineer trainee , research intern. Stipend was Competitive often around 7000 to 10,000 per month. My project and tasks was Developing software applications , Managing cloud infrastructure, Conducting data analysis. research projects was engaging in innovative research projects under the guidance of experience professionals.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is you must have bachelors degree in engineering or related fields, At least 60% throughout academic Career is the minimum marks. Recruiters and offers TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Wipro etc. Highest package is 30 lpa Amazon for software development engineer role and the average package is 8 lpa across various companies and profiles. Around 80% of eligible students secured placements. My plan for after getting the Btech degree is that I will complete my intake throughout Good Institute.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
111700/year. tution fees-80000, caution fees-10000 , Reg fees- 2700 , admission fees- 5000 , development fees - 4000 , Library and bookbank fees- 1500. Applied Swami Vivekananda merit cum mean scholarship Through College which Gives 60000 in a year.
Campus Life :
The name of the feast is ANANTA . Which is conducted in the month of April for two days. There are all kinds of books they have if somehow there is not available one they will bring it as soon as possible. There a sports day conducted on January. And extracurricular like post and making competition, Some innovative projects and in Puja occasions there is a room decoration competition which is organized by the Departments.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality at the college may cease generally good the menu is diverse catering to both vegetarian and non vegetarian preferences will find everything from traditional Indian males to occasional international foods. Overall it provides balanced nutritions and there's always something to look forward to. The hostel registration process is straightforward but can be competitive due to high demand it typically invokes filling out an online application followed by document verifications the hostel fees are relatively affordable considering the faculties provided which includes wifi laundry and recreational areas.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
