- Infrastructure in Malda Medical College is well organised, .It has all the facilities like good central Library, wifi , hostel , canteen, hospital.
- Faculties are well qualified and they are so friendly to us . They always try to help us and fill us with enormous knowledge
Dislikes
- In case of first 2-3 months we feel very frustrated
- Faculty number should be adequate and their sudden transfer should be dismissed
Remarks :
Yes , I have prepared for NEET in Aakash coaching centre for pursuing MBBS. After counseling I got Malda Medical College and hospital . I got 564 out of 720 and got this college after 2nd round counseling. In our college faculties are very good , practical exposure is appreciable.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum comprises of CBME pattern that means competency based medical education which allows us to understand things better in a lucid manner. Our faculties are well qualified and they make us learn using various smart study models, practical dummies, good power point.
Internships Opportunities :
We are affiliated to Governments college. Here 1 year mandatory internship is must for everyone pursuing MBBS in government hospital , After that we may have apply for house staff ship in own college or different college .
Placement Experience :
After completing academic year of 4.5 years we have to do internship of 1year in government hospital where stipend of around 30000 is allowed for us . Then we are offered the degree of MBBS . After that we can continue study for higher opportunities or apply for junior residency ship in hospital
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There are total nine semesters each of which costs 4500 , Our admission fee is 6500 . In every academic year comprises of generally 2 semesters which cost approx 9000 Total fee 41148 It's not increasing now
Campus Life :
Social life is also very good . Senior junior relationship is so friendly here. All cultural festivals are organised by us . We enjoy a lot . There are many opportunities of participation involvement and gaining a bit of happiness in college campus. We have play ground for cricket, football tournament. Auditorium is there for college fest and CME organisation.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I got hostel from 1st year . Room is very good having bed , matress , study table and chair, almirah occupied by 2/3 persons/room. Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
