Remarks :
The colllege holding it's legacy of 150 years with a great campus and friendly atmosphere of seniors and faculties. Well maintained football ground, badminton court, carrom, table tennis many things to refresh our minds The area surrounding the college is really congested . I passed the NEET 2023 exam and got admission to NRS medical college via the state counselling, cut off was about 640 out of 720 for general category students
Course Curriculum Overview :
The ambition to be a doctor is the driving force to choose the course. A lot of hard work before NEETug exam is the key to enter the course. The faculties are well educated and really friendly they try their best to pass on the lineage of a good health care provider system by teaching us patiently. There are three semesters which are conducted by the college and prof exam which is the promotional exam from one year to the next .
Placement Experience :
There is internship program for the ug students after the final year which is paid internship Paying upto 35000 Rs per month Students after the internship can do house-staffship and can also start the preparation for NEET pg
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is about 11100Rs(6600Rs during admission and 4500Rs during the end of 2nd semester it includes the university registration fees and fees for log book)enrollment fees for examination is 1800Rs (for each subject 600Rs for first year there are three subjects) Fees structure is same for all the candidates There are some scholarships like Swami Vivekananda Merit cum Means scholarship
Campus Life :
Their are many groups of singing dancing drama art and craft in respective batches and also inter batch groups . There is annual fest for enjoyment and refreshment. There are many events which take place ij every month .

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
