- First of all the college infrastructure is very good as I also mentioned that our college got a NAAC accreditation of A+
- The faculty was very helpful and supportive as they arrange seminar on the basis of curriculum and give their best in every possible aspect.
Dislikes
- The campus life varies upon students if you are local then obviously some of your friends might be in the college but if not then just make friends and don't be introvert.
- The result distributing process of the college was not very good. It takes much time and it not fixed as well.
Remarks :
First of all it is one of the top college of Burdwan University as per NAAC Data and The college provides excellent faculty for each and every department which allow students to study even better in every aspect.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was divided into six semester where two semester exam were taken in each year. As per my knowledge the faculty of English department brings excellent knowledge of English literature which allow students to understand more deeply and the use of advance infrastructure like projectors and smartboards are also used.
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn't get any internship as I'm studying for government exams but there are many types of content writing jobs or drafting job are available with my degree but if you graduated with technical skills then there is placements .
Placement Experience :
As In humanities there are not much placements or job opportunities that one can get but our faculties gives us information as per our skills and the college also gives some seminars and paid workshops to gain knowledge and experience.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee is 1800 yearly which is to be paid two times once in six month which is 900 and yes there is scholarship like Swami Vivekananda scholarship or aikyashree scholarship depending upon ones merits .As this is A government college the fee structure is quite affordable rather than other colleges.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is not so boring.The environment allows to make friends and also offer a good social life. There is a library as well which allows us to read a vast types of books which also helps us in studying.
Hostel Facilities :
The college has own canteen and the food quality is also good which is provided at much cheaper price than outside but as per my knowledge the college does not have any hostel for students but one can stay to any flats which are available at very close distance from the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
