- Infrastructure is good. We have swimming and gym facility here.
- Campus life is very good. We have a great fest every year.
Dislikes
- I have problem that we don't have different stalls for different types of food in campus.
- And also late night tea ans Maggie stall is not present inside the campus or hostel.
Remarks :
I chosed this college coz it's in Kolkata region and its near my home means I can easily go home in vacations. You can get directly admitted or get through councelling of Wbjee through Wbjee or jee score.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course coz i had interest in this course. Qualification of the facilities are of professors level or masters level. Faculties are good. Exam's are conducted semester wise and in between semesters internal examination are taken.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven't opted for any internship but I would like to do in future. Mostly internship is to be grabbed of campus according to me. I have no idea about the internship opportunities for students in this college.
Placement Experience :
I have no idea about intership opportunity but placement opportunities are there. Companies arrive at placement session. Those students who have a good skills they get placed. Students from civil and mechanical branch are placed every year in 95-100% ratio.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I had a different fe structure coz I admitted in 2023. From This year 2024 fees structure is 484000 in total fees structure and everything except hostel. In average 121000 per year. 1st year it's 169000 something may but and rest are divided according equally but the total is 484000 for btech cse.
Campus Life :
In Kolkata I think in terms of Private College Campus it's the best. We have Different Club's like Coder's Club, Culture i.e. Rainbow Club. Fests and sports are held very well. Fests are the bestest here.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is fine. Food menu is excellent. It's budget friendly. Students are allowed to prepare mess menu. This session menu was prepared by me and one of my senior friend. So good is good. Sanitation are done regularly.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
