- I like the campus it is big and beautiful.
- I love the all the religious houses temple, church, gurudwara and mosque
Dislikes
- Hostel wardens are rude towards freshers and support certain group of students.
- Some teachers are partial towards bengali students.
Remarks :
First of all I got to know about this college by my cousin sister. She gave me a good Review about this college. College campus attracted me towards it. I thought I would enjoy my campus life as u can participate and practice many extra curricular activites there. And also dedicated teachers.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As it is affiliated by makaut. So exam difficulty level will be more. They try to complete their course within time. But u hv to do extra efforts to Ensure good marks. Teachers offer u to ask ur doubt if u needed.
Placement Experience :
Not many companies. But many students get placements through on campus. As per my knowledge Highest package is around 12 lpa and avg package is 4lpa.80 percent of the students get placements. But my plan is to prepare for off campus as it would not be good enough to get placements like this. One thing I would suggest attend all classes of apptitude.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First of all I am talking about the btech course in computer Science or any specialization.U have to submit 72000 in First sem. After that 57600 for each sem. Nearly 121000 per year fee is the tuition fee. No extra charge U have to pay for anything else. All things are covered in it for your academics. Same charges are there for any caste as per my knowledge. Drcc schemes are applicable on this college.many scholarships are there for students depends on their caste and state.
Campus Life :
Recently Magnus fiesta has been organised where famous celebrities like Vishal, Shekhar and nusrat jahan performed. It is the fest of both bbit and jimsh. Many events organise in our college. Like 32 hours hackathon. Many sports events like volleyball, basketball, football and Cricket. Coaches are there to teach u. Gym and swimming pool are there where U can train yourself. Overall U will Live a Great campus life.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is good. Guards are always there to avoid Entrance of any senior which ensures safety of freshers. Mess food is not up to the mark. And if u are a vegetarian u have to eat food without taste. Some wardens are bad Tempered and support seniors. Freshers are not allowed to roam in shorts, half paints. Freshers can't go outside of the Hostel after 9 PM. They cannot go to any seniors room either. Btw Hostel fee is reasonable. But I would grade very low the mess food.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
