- The food of hostel is very bad and tasteless. The network connectivity is very poor and weak.
- The administrative system of the neotia university is very bad. They harass the students due to payment issues.
Remarks :
The neotia university has the entrance test for the admission. The passed students got admissioned in the college. The questions are based on the aptitude and general reasoning. The college is situated in very good place beside road and the environment is very eco friendly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are all phd completed and they are very student friendly and well groomed. They gives lecture with powerpoint presentation and practicals. The faculties gives extra class online and offline before exams. Two minor testa and one end semester test is conducted in every semester.
Internships Opportunities :
The college has collaboration with many companies like WEBEL, CISCO, Datacore pvt ltd , Cdac, AILABS, Zetalabs and many more company. The company provides paid and non paid internships to the students.
Placement Experience :
The placement cell provides internships and jobs in renowned companies. Two placement cells are present in college they organize the student grooming sessions and workshops for making the students ready for job interview.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The neotia university has the fees structure of the whole course. Every year two semester fees have to pay at the beginning of the semester. The college gives discount on the semester fees on the basis of results and the low family income of students.
Campus Life :
The neotia university has many clubs for photography, cooking, music, dance, fashion, art, technical and so on. The clubs organizes events and workshops in whole year. The students actively participates in the events.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel has common room where tv is provided and table tenis and many indoor games are available. The rooms are shareable with two students. The food is bad and tasteless and unhygenic. The network connectivity is very poor.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
