What you should expect from Cluster university Srinagar

- What I like about the college is that it's very big in area, it could fit a lot of infrastructure if they put in work.
- It has got a large parking space for both two and four wheelers.
Dislikes
- What I dislike is the faculty, with the teachers mostly being inexperienced in teaching.
- Another thing that I don't like is the inactiveness of the sports academy hosting not more than 2-3 games per the entire year.
Remarks :
One of the reasons I chose this college is because it's nearer to where I live, another being the reviews I had read about the good learning experience. But as I came here, i discovered that the reviews were about the old faculty and staff that was changed significantly.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The qualification of the faculty is good but the experience is a lot less than should be to teach the students. Most of staff is contractual and professors who have zero to very low teaching experience. The teaching methods are old school with not much pressure on projects and activities. Exam timings are a big mess taking place unexpected whenever the faculty decides. Sometimes the exams are held in just two or three months into the semester making it hard for the students to keep up.
Internships Opportunities :
I am yet to opt for an internship but the companies offered here are many like :- 1: Jammu and Kashmir Bank. 2: HDFC Bank. 3: Khybar industries. 4: Nutek Limited. Now the companies differ from one course to another.
Placement Experience :
There are no placement in this college. Though some internships may be available in the final year of your graduation. Other than that no placement or anything like that I have ever seen in my presence at this college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year-wise fees I paid was around 15000 rupees with 7500 being the university component and 2400 being the college component along with some other expenses. Registration fee is around 1700. The batchmates had to pay almost the equal amount I did. The scholarships available for students are the :- 1: Female Scientist program. 2: Central sector interest subsidy program. 3: Central Sector scholarship scheme for students at college and university.
Campus Life :
Campus is life is satisfactory with a lot of different people to meet and make friends with. There are a lot of of fests and programs that take place at the college throughout the year atleast one every month. The library isn't that good, they have some books but still lack a lot. Talking about Amenities in classrooms, there's nothing much except a board, and the chairs the students sit on. The seats even dusty and uncleaned, lacking cleanliness and sanitation.
Hostel Facilities :
I personally haven't opted for a hostel but a lot of friends do stay there. They complain of the rooms being a mess with no amenities available. Broken windows and doors, geysers not working etc. The quality is absolutely bad.

Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.

Placement Experience :
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro,infuses,bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Placement and college life at IIT Jammu
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.

quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
My University Life In The University of Kashmir.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.

Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.

Placement Experience :
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.

Placement Experience :
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
