The good aspect of my college Bemina degree college affiliated to cluster University is that exams are conducted on time so there is no delay in completing your degree. Bas aspects of the college is that infrastructure is not really good and no placement or internships are provided to students. Students, despite pursuing a professional degree do not get any exposure to real world situations. No industrial tours are organized for business students.
I choosed this course because of my interest in business world. Faculty is well qualified but they don't really take interest in benefiting their students with their knowledge. Term exams are conducted on time but syllabus usually remains incomplete.
Yes I have done a one month internship in Jammu and Kashmir bank. My project was "general banking" and I worked in audit, cash and NPA department. The internship was not done through the college. We had to find an opportunity for ourselves.
Since college doesn't provide any job opportunities, I am looking to initially work for a private company in hr department since my specialization is hr and gain some work experience for 2-3 years and then move abroad and work in some MNC.
First year fee: 15800 Second year fee: 15000 Third year fee:13800 Fourth year fee: 14700 Fifth year fee: 14000 No financial aid is provided by the institute. However the college does help with programmes like national scholarships.
Cultural fest was conducted in October. Books are available in library but they don't really match with the syllabus provided by college. There are not many places to hangout for students and the canteen is not that good as well.
The good is average but the cleanliness is good. It is very affordable and we enjoy the hostel Life but sometimes it is not easy living away from your family but with great friend every day is a new experience.
For placement University conducted job fair for the students where Banks, Private sector industries HR's also visited to take interview and thoroughly conducted the interview and make selection of the deserving students.
Placements in our college are average only, not very high but not zero also. Few companies come every year for campus recruitment, like TCS, Wipro, Infosys and some local construction firms. They mostly offer roles like junior engineer, site supervisor or trainee. Highest package was around 8 LPA for IT profile, average goes between 3-4 LPA. Almost 50-60% students get placed from campus, rest students go for off campus or higher studies. Eligibility for placement is you need minimum 6.5 CGPA and no active backlogs, also they check communication skills in interviews. No big mass recruiters like in IITs, but still some opportunities are there if you prepare well. If not getting placed through campus, I plan to try off campus drives and also thinking to prepare for govt exams or maybe do M.Tech. College do conduct some training sessions and mock interviews but main thing depends on self preparation.
Here almost 95% students got placed.average salary is around 6-7 lpa.Companies like wipro, infuses, bhel visited here.my plan after degree is to do mtech from iits. Highest package is around 45 lakhs (off campus). On campus it is around 25 lpa.
I am always moved by my college’s course curriculum which is multicultural and gives students a wide range of choices. The courses are demanding but the lecturers are always ready to provide support and counsel. It is affordable to all through scholarships and fair fees.
Eligibility criteria for placement depends on the company, majorly all companies asks for minimum CGPA of 7 or 7.5. Some past major companies which comes for recruitment are amazon, sprinklr, paytm, nvidia, ICICI bank, HDFC bank, maruti suzuki etc. According to 2023 data, highest package offered was 53 LPA, average package offered was 18 LPA, minimum package was 5 LPA. Percentage of students get placed in 2023 is 85%. My plans after getting the degree is to either works on corporate or to prepare for UPSC.
quality of teaching is crucial, instructor give their best in the class and class strength is divides in two section according their enrollment number.i think fees is affordable and fees waiver for different category.
The eligibility criteria for the placements of jobs was 65% in the grade card if graduation. The recruitment process was followed by a job examination and job interview. Cipla, SKIMS were some of the recruiters that visited the university and offered almost 15 jobs. The average package offered by the recruiters was 40-70 thousands per month. And the highest package offered by the recruiters was 1.1 Lakh per month. In this recruitment process almost 40% students got placements. I got a private job in a private pharmacy company. Now, I have chosen this job as my carrier after getting the degree.
Decent placement is seen here.Students get placed from semester 7 .TCs,Adobe etc companies comes here to give opportunities for students.Highest package of last year from chemical branch is 13 lakh and median is 7.5 lakh.
There were no job or placement opportunities available and it didn’t bothered the college. The main aim of the students as well included to just pass the degree and get out of there. Faculties also discouraged about the job market scenario outside the college which alleviated the trouble.
Previously there was 100% on campus placement in university but now it's only somewhat 70%. Companies come for placement also they select students but most of time it sells based company not a product based company also they offer quit low packages. Most of students try off Campus Placement where they get some good offers. Average package is about 5-7 lakh
