Remarks :
IEMJEE is the entrance exam one should take to get admission into IEM and UEM. Other than IEMJEE, score of WBJEE is also accepted. Other than that management quota is also available like all other private colleges in West Bengal.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Same unlike any other colleges in West Bengal or India everything is same. They give very much pressure on academics and assignments. Faculty is good and most of them are friendly except a few. Lab is also good.
Internships Opportunities :
I've worked for Sourcedesk Global Pvt Ltd as a Business Analyst Intern for 5 months but had to leave my internship due to college attandance policies which was ready to offer me a PPO after completion of 6 months.
Placement Experience :
Placement is going on currently and going with a good flow while hiring students. I'm eligible for placements and now giving interview for Accenture within a week. Also looking for office campus opportunities along with on campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Detailed fee structure is around 140000 yearly, 70000 per semester....and extra 1000 or 1200 exam fees per semester depending on the number of subjects per semester and 1000 to give backlog exam to clear the backlog.
Campus Life :
The campus is very small in terms of area. Though infrastructure is mostly average. Many clubs were present to give students opportunity for growth. Sports and technical fest is conducted and taken care upon.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
