Likes
- Enough number of labs and library. Neat and clean environment.
- Supportive teacher and friendly behavior.
- Enough number of parks, playgrounds, trees. Gym is all free of cost for hostel student.
- Faculty members are also good in nature and their behavior is also good.
Dislikes
- Buildings are old needed to be renovated.
- Needed to add some more teachers to the faculty according to the number of student.
- Need to upgrade syllabus based such as add AI to the syllabus because of this era.
- Some teacher speaks in punjabi that is not understandable for the student who came here from other states.
- Hostel foods needs improvement else that everything is fine.
Remarks :
No examination is taken for admission in this university. I came here because this university has a best grade NAAC A++ accredited and the fees is also less than in the compare of other college holding such grade. Anyone who want to take admission just come and take admission. It is a very easy to take admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have passed my intermediate in arts so I don't have option to go for B.tech CS so I have chosen BCA. It is little low in the compare B.tech CS but it depend upon the hardwork. Our faculty is equipped with labs and library open from 9AM to 5PM. Approx classroom is equipped with smart classes. Exams are taken on the basis of the university calendar. Exams difficulty level is normal not much harder and not much easier.
Placement Experience :
Placement is given to the student who score good in every semester, no backlog. Came came here for placement every year for the placement. According to the university high package that student has received was 72 lakhs. Average package is 3 to 7 lakhs given.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fee payment for Punjab student is 40000. And the student who came from other state is 50000 per year. Extra charge such as examination fees 1800 is taken. NSP scholarship is available. SC/ST scholarship is available for the student who belong to Punjab.
Campus Life :
Library has a huge number of books, research paper, thesis. It is available for all the students in free of costs. University provide coaches for the student who is better in sports. University also help them to play at university level, state level and international level. There are many student who bring gold medal for university. They also organize cultural fest for the student belonging from different culture.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is not so good as we can say that not much bad not so good but needed to be improvement on this. Registration process of hostel allotment is so simple as just pay the fees and hostel is allotted to you. According to the hostel charge it is good. Locality is not much safer but if you pay attention then nothing can happen. But in my suggestion if you came from other state please go for hostel not for PG.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
