- the faculties are very responsive and interactive with students
- the are several field visit and field work
- there are several sports events held every year as inter department matches
Dislikes
- the college there no clubs and events
- campus life is really boring out here as there are no socializing events
Remarks :
the reason to choose this college was that it had accreditation from icar and naac a++ accredited and is ugc certified the min cutoff is more than 75% in class 12th with science with bio background. the admission process is by contacting the university , and from August admission starts , the person interested must come to the admission block of the university fil the forms and submit the documents and the 1st sem fees must be paid no interviews were held and for MSc or masters programmes the college conducts entrance exam
Course Curriculum Overview :
it's a great course for young aspiring minds interested in agriculture the faculty are mostly PhD holders in their specific field/subject and they follow the latest curriculum issued. the exams are conducted as to 2 main exams (mst and end term exam)and 3 assignments(ca 1 ,2 & 3) , and has a lot of field work and we learn about agriculture and there are visits to other universities , farms , factory related to agriculture and dairy
Internships Opportunities :
no Internships in agriculture and there are agriculture training were a LOR is issued and we perform training in our hometown nearest kvk centers. the are several projects and lab work also in agriculture
Placement Experience :
the placements are available only for hindi speaking individuals as extension workers and they are selected by campus interviews and a cpga of 7 or above and other option is apply for MSc or prepare for upsc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the complete fees is 10 lakhs in total for hostellers , 1st sem 3 lakhs and then every sem 1 lakh each which includes all facilities like hostel , mess , laundry etc . and there are scholarships for girls and differently abled people.
Campus Life :
the fest Organized are fresher's day and other festivals are celebrated like onam vishu etc. there is a common library in the college with books related to all academic subjects and a department library for agriculture department. there are inter department sports events held every year.
Hostel Facilities :
the food quality is average and there are separate menu for north and south Indian students. the registration for hostels is asked during the admission process and they are allotting the students to the hostels based on the availability of rooms.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
