CAMUS LIFE IS GOOD

- I like the campus life in my university the seniors are very good.
- The teachers are very helpful and interactive.
Dislikes
- The university mess food is not in some hostels .
- And the placement is also not good as much we want.
Remarks :
There was no such exam for my admission. It was on my 12 percentage. So I don't have to prepare for any exam. The process is very easy. You just have to submit your documents such as marksheet and clc etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The fees of the course was pocket friendly. The Qualification of the teachers is good and thr teachers are very helpful and interactive. The exam is on time and the difficultly of the exam is average you just have to study a little bit.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done some internship but it was not given by the college I have done it through my friends. And I have done some virtual internship from a company called codsoft .I have done two virtual 1 in artificial intelligence and 1 in python programming.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are not very good in my university. The few visited recruiters are nestle,wipro,John degree,yes bank and may more. The highest package was 20 lpa for btech department The highest placement for all department is 70 lakh from agriculture department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I pay 1 lakh 41 thousand per year but it is increasing year by year.there is a management for sc st students. There is difference in fee between you and your batch mates. There it scholarship but only for punjab students
Campus Life :
The campus life is very good. It is very crowded. There are many fest which happen and I love the fresher party which is held for the new students. The library is very big and there are different types of books avaliable. The university is famous for his sports and extracurricular facilities.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality of the mess is not good .The hostel is good and but the bathroom are very dirty in some hostels . You just have to fill a form to apply for the hostel. There are few pgs but they are not good.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
