I choose this college mainly because of its affordability compared to others engineering institution as my family financial situation is not strong enough to handle high expenses. Additionally there were no group discussion interview or return test required for admission. Only criteria was appeared for entrance exam like WJ or Jaime, which made the admission process straightforward.
A course curriculum and activities are they are moderate providing a basic foundation but lacking depth in several areas. While some faculty members and knowledgeable and supportive, the overall quality of teaching could be improved to meet engineering college standards. There are few standard professors, but, in general, both the curriculum and faculty are fairly average, which means student need to put in extra effort independently to advance their skills.
The placement and intensive opportunities at the college are average. Wild placements are conducted, the overall supported provide is not very extensive, and many student have to turn to external platform like Internssala, Linkedin and others to find intensive. The average basement package is around 3 LFA and the height switching is 5 LPA.
The placements and job opportunities at the college are average with some limited on campus placement support most student have to look for up campus opportunities relying on platform like linkedin indeed and other job portals while the college does organize placement the number of opportunities is not extensive as for my employability, I plan to focus on off campus job opportunities and intensive to build my skill further and enhance my chance of securing a good position after completing the course.
2022 the total fees for the EC branch was 2,50,000. I ordered the SBM then scholarship of 60,000 for achieving over 60% marks throughout the year. Currently the fees have gone up to around 4,00,000 and are likely to increase even more in future. Additionally the college has started providing student with a laptop included in the higher fee structure
Krishna weeds held between November and January, is the college main event drawing student to campus with high profile celebrity promotion and significant investments. The library offered a wide collection of books but classrooms are poorly maintained although there are some emphasis there are no active social groups and once there was a coding club and its nearly become lack dead and additionally the labs are only averagely maintained.
Engineering student do not have access to the hostel, as it is only available for nursing and individual students to stop consequently, engineering student are required to arrange for op camp accommodation, which can build challenging and mainly to additional cost.
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
