- Takes a lot of time for construction of new buildings. Hence dusty at some areas
- Strict rules especially for girls hostel.
Remarks :
I chose this college based on my JEE mains rank. Also it was close to my hometown and a government institute so my parents prefered it over other colleges. It is a perfect place for a student scoring more than 95 percentile in JEE mains
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mostly all professors are PhD holders and have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Also faculty is a team developed from all over the India so it comes from variety of cultures and specialisations.
Internships Opportunities :
Same tech companies that visit campus for placements also offer some internship opportunities for students. The recruiting process is all decided by the company itself and no restriction is applied by college.
Placement Experience :
Many major tech companies visit campus each year and recruit students based on their intelect. There is no eligibility criteria as per institute for placements. All is decided by the visiting company. Last year highest package went upto 60 lpa with average of 18 lpa for CSE students
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Btech course consists of 8 semesters. Tution fee for each semester is ?89000. Hostel is optional and costs ?25000 extra along with a ?10000 refundable extra. The extra fee is used to buy extra snacks, dairy products etc. scholarships are also available for SC/ST and OBC/EWS students based on category.
Campus Life :
Institute organises annual fests named techniti. It has facilities for major sports and also regular events are organized on hostel, institute and interNIT level. Institute also has library facility where one can issue course related books.Classrooms are fully equipped with latest technology teaching appliances.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is average. Registeration for message is also done along with tution fee payment. Message follows a predefined schedule and prepares food according to that. The message schedule is flexible and may change with majority of students

In 2026 Accenture selected 200 students The highest package is around ?22–25 LPA, while the average is approximately ?5–8 LPA. Around 35–40% of students get placed. if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
