- I love my college faculty and have extra respect for them , all of them are so helpful and ambitious for us
- Campus life is so amazing with all those clubs and seniors, Ragging free campus
- I love the hostel Life more than this , Free roaming in every corner and ladies hostel is also available and security is very good with numbers of CCTV cameras
Dislikes
- We need more development in infrastructure, like roads and lights
- Lab instruments are quite disturbing they sometimes don't work properly and as our strength is growing but the number of instruments are same so difficulty in lab experiments always happens
Remarks :
I got good reviews from my School Teachers and it is a highly recommended college in westbengal for those students who prefer government engineering college over the private ones , This is the 2nd best engineering college in west bengal after jadavpur university for placement and gate examination
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course is basically of 4 Years and the syllabus is quite big for me , faculty is so good already there are all Teachers with qualification of PhD and Other researches and The HOD of ECE department is among top 2 percent scientist in the world
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn't apply for any internship But internship are available and there are several companies come in campus with opportunities And average package of 5k to 30k per month, Amazon microsoft and other MNCs also offer internship to our students
Placement Experience :
60% marks minimum needed for placement Each year 40-50 companies reach our campus for placement and most common are TCS COGNIZANT INFOSYS DXCORR HPL HCL WOOD and many more Highest package in last year 46 lakhs per annum Lowest package 5 lakhs per annum My plans after getting the degree is obviously a placement or going for M tech
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees I paid 12000 Rupees as tution fee, And those who are Tution fee waiver students doesn't need to pay this amount and Those who have annual income less than 250000 Rupees, they can avail SVMCM scholarship annually 60000 rupees In the Department of IT there is tution fee of 24000 rupees per academic and Computer Science and Engineering same as mentioned for Electrical and Mechanical department tution fee is 6000 rupees per academic year
Campus Life :
Espektro is the name of our annual Techno management cum cultural fest in Kalyani Government Engineering College, 4 day long and Generally conducted in March and the last day is always Holi Bhor is our annual magazine published around durgapuja every year There are 15 different clubs for various extra curricular activities like Dance singing Photography gaming Coding Art literature and all
Hostel Facilities :
Food Quality is quite good for daily consumption Menu contains Meat Twice a week Fish and egg 4 days in a week and other days there are veg items Hostel is affordable here 12000 rupees for 6 months And 2000 for each month, I live in Hostel Raja Ram Mohan Roy Hall , Kalyani Government Engineering College, Kalyani Ghoshpara, Nadia

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
