Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering College is the best college in my area so that's why i choose this college to my higher studies. I didn't give any exam to get seat in college because of my good academic score in my secondary education.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have keen interest in mechanical engineering so that's why I choose mechanical engineering branch for my higher study. I am enjoying to pursue my course in Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Engineering college.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes i opted for internship in my college after first year . I did so many tasks and projects. I did mostly task or work on manufacturing process or we can say in workshop. How make and give perfect shape to job.
Placement Experience :
Yes, there are placement and job opportunity in my campus. There are numerous companies visiting my college and give placement to students. Most of the enroll student of my college get placement in their Final year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My fees is 90000 per year but we are pay fees half yearly or we can say in the starting of every semester, I have to pay fees which is 45000 rupees per semester. All the tuition and other fees included in 45000.
Campus Life :
I love to spend time in my campus. There are so many celebrated festival in my college. Diwali is celebrating in my college, we are lightning the all college. Moreover we are celebrating Lohri in the month of january.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i opted a hostel, everyone's know what types of food all the students get in hostels in every campus. Taste of food is average. To get hostel in my campus, i written a application to allow to me hostel room and after paying fees i get room in hostel.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
