Likes
- The only good thing in the college is that the infrastructure is very good there is a Nescafe coffee shop and a dedicated contain and very greenery in the college
- Some of the faculties are dedicated towards the students
Dislikes
- The placements and internships are very poor in the college but I get to know in the past college is very good but in present the condition of the college placements are becoming worse day by day
Course Curriculum Overview :
No need to anyone but qualifications of the teachers are very well means they having their master and some are doing their PH D'S but as I get admitted II saw that the curriculum and academics they ARE having responsibility on the students. teachers are not much that capable to teach the students or they can't have physical exposure or practical sessions
Internships Opportunities :
During my graduation there is no internship offer two most of the students except one student which get only 12,000 per month stamped during six months training and during my training i Paid 20,000 for 6 month training in PLC,SCADA with my own's search and also with the college help
Placement Experience :
Placements opportunities in college especially are for computer science branch, For other departments there are no or very few placements and internships the students have to search for placements by themselves during my studies there is only one company coming in the electrical department at which is also a very below the average company overall means placement is very bad in this college for departments accept Computer Science engineering department
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
During admission there's one time free concession according to 12th Class percentage and during my master's degree I get free concession of 20,000 per semester because of same college as I do graduation of Bachelor of Technology from same college, The students related to other castes like SC and ST they having scholarship provided by Punjab government and they have to SUBMIT no fees to college directly until the government provide them
Campus Life :
There are many fESTs are conducted in the college in one OR two months apart, many students get participated in that event Books that required for the students during their studies are very much in the library Overall library is full of books there is a dedicated SC QUOTA Bank or we can say that as SC QUOTA bookbank is there from from which the students can get books of that particular castE, During events in college extracurricular activities and sports activities are also there Various clubs are present in the college and various political parties are also there in the college
Hostel Facilities :
I personally didn't opted for hostel but my friends and colleagues are there in hostel, From them I get to know about all the details of hostel mess infrastructure and Room's condition as I regularly visiting my colleagues rooms during my graduation.The food quality I can say as medium the hostel fees at that time is 9000 per semester but house of 2025 it is get 12,000 per semester for non AC with sharing And room condition average and how hostal condition is also average

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
