The college infrastructure is good which impressed me to join it. Even it's also has sports facilities and a swimming pool which shows the college focused on sports also. The placement is also good. If you are an average student you'll get your ROI easily. But if you work hard you'll easily get a good placement in your hand.
As I'm from the CSE department I can explain about this department easily. The facility is good. You can reach to them if you are stuck anywhere in academics. The courses are focused on CSE core subjects. Just you have to work a little and you'll pass all your exam.
I got a chance to get a research internship at NIT Patna. Where I got to work on speech recognition and verification systems. Even one of my friends from the mechanical department got a research internship offer from IIT. The college placement cell helps us to get that. Even you'll try to get a corporate internship and the college will provide all the support.
Placements are available in the college. Placement cells of the college are so active. If the student is an average student he can easily grab one of them. But if you work hard you'll get a good placement in your hand. The MBA department offers 90-95% of placement to the students. And in CSE 80% will get placed.
11000 is my fee every year. But now it's increased to 124000-130000. The total fees for me were 440000 where 45000 was the semester fees and the rest was the hostel and fooding. It's now become 520000-540000.
Life at the campus is pretty good. In past, there was a food issue but now the food quality is too good. If you are vegetarian you can easily live here. You'll get wi-fi service for 24*7. , good and chilled water, and proper room. Overall whatever service you'll get here is pretty good.
The food here is mess a good but it's only veg. The electricity is available all day and night. The rooms are hygienic and maintained. The washrooms are regularly cleaned by the staff. And the most important is the wifi. It's available all the time with a speed of 10 Mbps. So you'll easily work.
if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
