- The Campus Building . The building is well made and well decorated.
- The classes are very well organised and all the classes have ac and adequate lights.
Dislikes
- The ground facilities are not up to the mark
- The timings of classes are not very likable by Students.
Remarks :
I was suggested by one of my friend who got admitted here and also head goodwills of this college over the years in my school life. Also my teachers also suggested to get admitted into this college and after getting admitted I am satisfied being admitted in this college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Very nice teaching staff and helpful faculties. The coordinators are also helpful . And the admin cell staffs are also very helpful regarding every financial and academic aspects. There are teachers are very knowledgeable and experienced.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done some intership programs from the college provided by the government of India and the college also helps us to complete the hacker rank and hackathon profiles ,also there are events from hackathon conducted by the college.
Placement Experience :
We need to study and make a good sgpa to get internships and placements. Our college helps us to get the companies throughout the final years. There is a separate and specified cell named as placement cell which helps and grooms a Student to get placed in a company.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
We pay 65 k per semester So in a year 65k*2=130k /- And 2k for each semester exam fees .So 4k more ,which equals 134k per year Also the teaching fees and infrastructure fees are added in that 65k but it is not even showed to us the detailed distribution of fees.
Campus Life :
There are mainly 1 main fest held in our college and freshers are done every year. The college provides various clubs for students where everyone and anyone from the college can join . It is also a ragging free campus. We are always taught to not rag our juniors and if anyone rag us we should always inform. There is also a anti Ragging cell in our college .
Hostel Facilities :
The pg is near my college ,they provide fooding and lodging. 2 meals are provided and wifi ,water, fridge , washing machine and all sort of basic commodities are provided to us and also we are given tasty and healthy food quality.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
