I always wanted to do MBBS from an INI as it is a autonomous body and also holds a brand value which gives us an upper hand while being placed at various centres of the country. Great infrastructure and great facilities are available
Faculties are highly educated and acquainted with modern methods of teaching. They are helpful and friendly. Monthly internal exams are arranged. Semesters are 9 in number throughout the course and annually professional exams are held
Internship is compulsory in our own college being it a government institution. We have to serve here for a year for rs30070 per month at various departments which prepare us to treat patients better in future
After finishing MBBS we are placed for internship with rs30070 per month for a year . There after we can join as non academic jrs in our college or give inicet to join as pg students both receiving around 1 lakh per month
We have to pay rs 5856 for entire 5 year course which is refunded after completion of course. Hostel fees and accommodation fees as well as academics are included in it. We have to pay rs4300 per month as mess fees . Gym facilities and sports equipment are free. We have to pay 1200 rs per month for installation of ac in our single rooms . Library is equipped with ac and there are 3 canteens in the campus
Various fests like Elyssia and academic fests like Limbus are arranged annually. Meraki is the name of the freshers party . On addition all the festivals of different regions and religions are celebrated with great enthusiasm. Special attention given to extracurricular activities
Hostel inside the campus is compulsory for all the mbbs and nursing students. Mess is compulsory too and requires 4300rs per month for food. Mess food is hygieneic and of good quality. Canteen is available too
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
