- Everything is great. The name AIIMS is enough to let you guess about the state of the art facilities. Everything is top notch.
Dislikes
- There isn't anything to dislike it. You just once visit our campus and i'm sure you will fell in love with it.
Remarks :
I had qualified neet exam to enroll in this college. Cutoff is approx AIR 2000 for general category. You have to give NEET exam. Good thing of this college is that it has best infrastructure and lush green beautiful campus. Academics is top notch, state of the art hospital, central library, multiple canteen. You will get single rooms with attached washroom equipped with geyser. Room is also well furnished. Medical labs are well equipped. Environment inside the college is highly competitive.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed this course as it was my childhood dream to become a doctor and serve well in my city as it lacks quality doctors. All the faculties in this college are either post graduate with atleast 3 years of experience or superspecialist. All of them are from the top notch institutes and having brilliant academic and work experience. Exams are held on time. Difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes. It is mandatory to do internship in the mbbs course. You will have to do your internship in your college itself. You will get lots of opportunities to learn in the internship. You will get rotated in all the major department. Stipend you will get is 30000? per month.
Placement Experience :
In medical field there isn't any concept of placement. Everyone gets employed. Rate is 100%. You have to mandatory internship in your college and you will get a stipend of 30000rs per month for this.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
5856 rs is the total fee of whole course of duration 5.5 years and not per annum. It includes the hostel fee, gym fee, electricity fee everything. Only for mess we have to give 4300rs per month. Mess food is decent and the mess is common for boys and girls.
Campus Life :
Life in campus is pretty good and competitive. You will find Everyone studying either in the library or in their hostel rooms. There are many clubs like music, dance, sports, quiz, literature, chess, etc. All of the important books you will ever need during your course are available in the library and we do have access to the most of the journals online through our institute id. Sports facilities are available for cricket, basket ball, table tennis, badminton, carrom board, chess, tug of war, marathon, kabaddi, football etc. Lots of events are held in the college like annual fest, different festivals are celebrated as it is a central institute so you will get to see holi, bihu, onam, pongal, sarswati puja, diwali, eid and almost all of the festival from the different parts of the india. Workshops are held regularly, quizzes, online competition like meme making, dance, music ,poetry etc are also held once in a year. Guest lecture are held on a regular basis.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel and mess is compulsory so you will be allotted during your admission. Mess fee is 4300 rs per month and the food is decent. Menu changes every day and you will get huge amount of variations in the menu like idli, dosa, uttpam, chicken, fish, egg, mushroom, mix veg, chola bhatura, biryani, chowmein, pani puri, paav bhaji and much more.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
