- Firstly I like the most about this college is its affordability.
- Secondly I like the most about this college is freedom for doing your own tasks as no much pressure is there to attend classes from the college.
Dislikes
- I dislike about the college most is its placements. As this college is situated in a very rural area very few companies with few package come for campusing so the placement scenario is very bad.
- And secondly college infrastructure is very average that is something I dislike about this college.
Remarks :
The best thing about this colleges it's tuition fees are very cheap, with leaving in the hostel the monthly cost is less than 3000 rs. Bad aspect of this college is it is situated in a rural area for that reason very few companies came here for placements. To get into this college one has to pass the highest secondary examination with at least 60% marks in science background and qualify in wbjee examination. Also lateral entry is possible by JELET examination to directly get admission in the 2nd year. No as such cutoff is there to get into this college as one can get this college with a very low rank.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I am very much passionate about softwares and computers. All the faculties here are PhD holders and very knowledgeable. They also have a lot of experience in the industry. There are four internal exams that is very easy to clear, to practical internal exam that is also very easy to clear, and for finals there is theory final examination that is semester examinations that is moderate in terms of difficulty level and there is also practical examinations at the end of the semester which is also not much difficult.
Placement Experience :
Students must have at least 6.5 CGPA to be eligible for placements, most of the companies ask at least 7.5 CGPA. Few visited recruiters of this college are Accenture Wipro byju's Infosys TCS etc. the average package from this college is 5 lpa, highest package is 21 lpa. 80% of the students gets placed. I am most likely to take a placement after my degree.
Campus Life :
Campus life is very very decent. The faced name of our college is ESPARANZA. This is conducted in the month of September. All the nursery books are available in the library and all kind of extra curricular activities in sports are held in the college fields like cricket badminton football volleyball etc. there are many social groups for singing dancing poetry recitation debate coding newspaper photography designing etc. Hostels food quality is very good, three times meals are given in a day and it is very affordable it costs around 1500 per month I personally have rented a PG at Harin Chawra.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
