- There is no campus life in this college at all the campus is to small .And in the name of feast only quiz competition and hackathons and seminars are held for fun only 2 feasts are there one is estacia and other one is utopia but trust me they are also not that good and forget about freshers party in this college but one thing is there that there is going to be no ragging at all so you can say this college is very safe because the faculty and staff is very strict here.And you have to enter the college morning 9:30 am otherwise you cannot attend the class the gates will be closed
Remarks :
This college is one of the best colleges for engineering in West Bengal and yes we have to give a entrance test held by the University itself for getting admission secondly you can also get admission through WBJEE. And in 12 grade you should have 75 % marks to get admission and to get CSE Core branch in this college your ranking should be under 3000 to 4000 thousand in the entrance test held and organised by the University, named IEMJEE .Also there is a very small campus of this college,this college infrastructure is a obout 3 buildings alony each buliding is of 4 to 5 floor and there is no ground and you have to wear uniform give by the college and hostel facility is not inside the campus hostel fir boys and girls are 2 km away and hostels are also very small and there are very few hostel in this college 2 for boys and 2 for girls .You have to maintain 75% attendance in this college and compulsory other wise you will be debarred for mid term and semester exams .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course and curriculum is same as the other colleges there not much changes in the curriculum. The term exam are going to be tough so you have to study hard and secondly you have to give mid terms practical exams from 2 nd yarr so there are going to be lots of exam and the difficult level you can say from average to hard .All the faculty are IITs and Jadavpur University and Calcutta University and almost everyone is a PhD holder in there specific backgrounds . Teachers are friendly and helpful but at the same time very strict also .
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any internship as such of now but if you want to get a intership you can apply for it the fuclty and placement cell will help you regarding that matter but to get internship your DSA should be strong .
Placement Experience :
This college is running for its placement only because it provides good placement companies like Infosys, cognizant, TCS , godrej infotech, JP Morgan ,mindtree ,IEM R&D vust this campus for placement . For intership you can talk to the faculty if you are good at coding you can get the opportunity
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Per semester we have to pay a sum of ?85000 there are 2 semesters in a year so ?170000 annually and additional we have to pay exam fees 1200 per semester and there is also scholarship available for the ones whose financial condition is not good the scholarship amount is 85000 . And there is no additional charges except these and the fees structure is same for every category general SC ST or OBC .For scholarship you have to right a letter to the dean afterwards there will be a merit exam for the scholarship and if you pass in that exam than only you will be getting the scholarship.
Campus Life :
There is no campus life in this college and in name of feasts you are going to attend seminar, hackathons and quiz competition and some tech and innovation compitition in this college most of the clubs of this colleges are on study only life quiz club ,coding club , innovation club and etc . Some feasts are there were you can do some enjoyments like the estancia and utopia but they are also average not so good . And the infrastructure of this college is very small it consists of only 3 buliding interconnected to each other and there is only 1 cafeteria but it is also not that big and at the time of lunch it's very crowded and there is no scope for sports also in this college because there is no ground where you can play or do practice.For indoor games you can go to the basement if you want
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel is 4 floor buliding the rooms are very small . The food is not good at all you cannot eat it and at evening you have to enter the hostel by 7pm and the warden is also very strict .You are not getting any AC or cooler facility in this hostel

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
