Remarks :
I choosed thapar because its not too far from my hometown also the placements they offer are quite impressive Admission process includes jee main score or boards examination score There is no specific exam that college conducts for Admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to go for pure Cs branch but the increasing competition forced me to have electrical and computer course Though it's a good branch and offers Many opportunities in placements Teaching method is up to the mark but some faculty is just not matching the level of college Term exams are every 2.5 months first the mst and est completing a semester within 6 months
Internships Opportunities :
No not yet I'm in first year so I am focusing on developing my skills first even though we get Manu internship offers but they are not offering packages as of now they rather offer training for better experience
Placement Experience :
Placements are based on cg and skills of the student and on campus placements are constantly coming and hiring students average package is 10 lakh per anymore My plan after getting the degree is to get a reputed job and work for my own start up
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee depends on the course we have taken for computer and software engineering courses the fee is around 4 lakh per year ( tuition fee) and if we add up the hostel fee it's upto 5 lakh per year Also the fee is increasing every year
Campus Life :
Saturnalia is the biggest fest held every year in November Library is really amazing and has all types of books specially those needed for engineering There is a bunch of sports and extracurricular activities and almost 150 societies and clubs in any aspect one can think of
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is really good and the hostels are clean and affordable We get our rooms cleaned regularly and caretakers are available 24/7 Common washrooms are Also cleaned daily Overall hostels are amazing

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
