- I like the infrastructure and campus life.
- The classmates and the faculties are also quite good for a great cooperation.
Dislikes
- I dislike the number of instruments in the lab which is limited.
- Some of the faculties are rude in behaviour which might mislead any student.
Remarks :
The location of the college and the cleanliness made me choose this. The amenities around the college is also excellent. There is no selection process or any exam for admission. Only the WBJEE rank is considered mostly and some from MQ(Management Quota).
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and is perfect for each semester. The faculties are quite helpful mostly but some of them are a bit rude which might mislead any student from there goal, especially the Electrical faculties.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet applied for internships. We will be provided with that from the 4th Semester. But the interships which are provided are frequently available from our college and is highly demanding. Generally this internship lasts 3-6 months and the tenure period is managed by the college.
Placement Experience :
Placements and Job opportunities are highly active in the Heritage placement cell currently. Many companies are visiting the college with an average package of 5LPA which is quite great! Now there is 70-80% placement from CSE and IT branch and 60% from rest branches.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is like at the time of admission you need to pay 65k which include the first sem fee. Then from the second semester onwards we need to pay 45k. The total fees is ?4.5 lakh which is quite less than other Private College in West Bengal.
Campus Life :
The campus life is kinda cool since 2023. But there are no fests as such. Only the club events happen on the regular basis from 3-4 time a month. The infrastructure is top rated and well maintained. The classrooms are spacious.
Hostel Facilities :
I am not in any hostel or mess. I come from home. But one can apply for joining hostels from there peers. One hostel which is nearby named RK Mondol hostel, a quiet famous one is available for rooms for the freshers.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
