Remarks :
The fee structure for the 4years of engineering training program was quite affordable if you belong to a middle class background. You only require a good score in your 12th board exam and you JEE exam and you'll go through a interview process to get into UEM kolkata.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Course which I had chosen was Electronics and Communication engineering, the subject matter was crisp and enough to make you a well groomed engineer in the upcoming 4years.The faculty are highly educated and guided us throughout our graduation. The term exams occured ever quarter before the semester exams to prepare us for the semester exam.The term exams were more difficult compared to the semester to give us a reality check and work harder for semester exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For The fee structure included Admission fee of 92800 which included the first semester fee.The caution fee was 10,000,development fee of 5000 and lab fees of 5000. Scholarship of 10,000 for lower income family background Scholarship of Rs70,000 for top performing student in academic year.
Campus Life :
Our college host a fest named Jigisha which is a quiz contest which takes place in the month of August every single year.The events of Jigisha are:1.Jana Ojana-A general school quiz 2.Friday Night blockbuster-A online mela quiz. 3.Hit the home run-An U25 sports quiz. 4.Convergence- An U25 Business and Technology quiz. 5.Fandomania-An U25 Fandom and Pop culture quiz. 6.Pragya sixth sense-Our flagship open(no age limit) General Charity quiz. We have a 1200sq ft library with occupancy of more than 50students with computers and wifi connection for students to research and work on their thesis. We have a drama club named Theatrix for students passionate about acting.

Placement Experience :
Placements are not being offered from our college solely. But internship is being offered in the last 6 months mandatory for the completion of the four year course. The placement thing is solely on you like how capable are you to get into one hospital. But this college has nothing to do with it.

One should not be have any backlogs to sit for campus placements and should keep a decent GPA as many companies puts a cut off GPA. Placements are very decent and almost 70 percentage gets placed many of the others gets into higher studies

Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
