- Faculties, infrastructures are the best.
- Campus feels like my second home. All the faculties are good. Security uncles are very helpful and they never misbehave with us. It's a no ragging college campus.
Dislikes
- Wifi problems sometimes , We face because, students are more than the wifi availability.
- A little bit small playing ground. So, men can feel problems in playing cricket, football at the same time.
Remarks :
I chose the college because the availability of my course, I've found here. The campus is so good. I faced some conversations with the admission cell, before getting admission. HS. Result is mandatory for getting admission here. Student must clear WBJEE OR JEE MAINS or a special exam called JET held by the JIS group. I easily qualified JET because the syllabus was similar to WBJEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties of the CSE is very good here. Course curriculum is also beautifully designed and decorated and easy to learn and understand too. I'm enjoying very much. I'm doing great. No teacher does misbehave with us.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I didn't because I'm a student of 3rd sem, right now just. I'm trying because, my faculties are also very good. There are so many industrial visita We do in association with so many companies like ARDENT COMPUTECH PVT LTD ETC.
Placement Experience :
Placement and Job opportunities are the great from our JIS University. Almost, to be very very honest 80% students are get placed every year. Criteria is you've to clear all the semester with atleast 7.5 sgpa. Our main recruiters are Capgemini, Accenture global, Appollo Pharmacy, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly it's approx 1.5 lacs. So, to complete a 4 years B. Tech program we've to pay almost 6 lacs. There's some scholarships. Like Swami vivekananda scholarship and if H.S. or semester examinations percentage is good enough, then some of the scholarships will be granted. Now, the fees structure may be increased in the years passing by.
Campus Life :
The campus Life is so good here. It's feeling like my second home. There's so many clubs like social clubs, nature clubs, photography clubs. The annual cultural sports takes part in the month of January. There's our another best cultural fest naming JIS SAMMAN . So many intercollegiate sports like cricket and all is here in our lovely JIS University.
Hostel Facilities :
I don't have much knowledge about JIS HOSTEL LIFE, as I'm currently living in a PAYING GUEST HOUSE. also, I heard from my friends that hostel is also not bad. Fooding and lodging is quite good. They say that they never sleep being hungry.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
