- Some seniors are very bad. They ragging us High pressure, demanding courses, financial burden, social isolation, and tough competition.
Remarks :
I chose civil engineering in this college because I love civil related works like infrastructure ,bridge roads etc nin this college study related environment & Competition & disscusion are generally form of best students & faculty members to encourage in future. The best thing is how the people and our respected civil engineer brother are working in the tunnel project.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teachers are very well-educated and friendly. They teach us very well. In our department, shyamal sir, Biren sir, and Kingshuk Sir, Mithun are friendly. In our other teachers also taught us very well. They are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. Semester exam is taken by our college at an interval of 6 months, and internal exams are taken 2 times per semester. Question's hardness is moderate by Makaut . The minimum passing percentage of the students is 40%.
Internships Opportunities :
About 40-50% secure internships in under govt organization & IT Sector. Our college working-hard on Training and Placement Office (TPO) that helps students get jobs in upcoming days .Tata Infosys Wipro Amazon detrolite coding Ninja gibs as the opportunity to do internship with them internship opportunities are available with IIT is also but as a face at I don't know about the stipend amount most of work is it best for non It students there are less chance of internship available from college you have to find your own.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides placements to almost all Department of the students .The Computer science(CSE) department provides the highest placements in this college. In this department, Every Year almost 80-82% of students got placed in various companies like Microsoft, Cognigant, TCS, Wipro, and Infosys & Teachnook, and L&T etc. The highest salary package offered is 9-10LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 3-3.5 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure and scholarship In Cooch Behar Government Engineering College (CGEC) are very less as compared. Tuition fees The tuition fees for the B.E. and B.Tech courses at CGEC for civil ,electrical & mechanical departments 3000K/semester & CSE & ECE Department are 6000k/semester. Semester fees The semester fees for the various B.Tech courses at CGEC are BTech in Computer Science & Engineering,Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ,Electrical Engineering & Civil Engineering: 1200 per semester.Scholarships are available for all the students like SVMCM which gives us 60000/- rupees as scholarship per year.
Campus Life :
Classrooms are hygienic and clean but moderate. Labs are moderately furnished. Our Geology lab, survey lab, and electrical lab & CSE , ECE are well-furnished with equipment. Library is filled with many valuable books including technical books. Our library can carry various types of book to provide books to students of the of all deparments to get better future in higher studies . Our college has to be provide Wi-Fi to students.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel's environment is very friendly and smooth. Hostel infrastructure is good but in the hostel, there is an extra aliveness. Our college has 5 hostels, including a girls' hostel. The food quality is good, and the per semester meal charge is Rs.1,0500. In the SUKANTA CHATTRAWAS Hostel, the 4th year students reside, and other Hostels is reserved for1st, 2nd and 3rd-year students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
