Actually I got this college through Wbjee counselling. There's no such factor that made me chose this college but if we compare it with other private colleges in west bengal it's in the top. The placement from this college is also very good and there's this stream Computer Science and Technology which I'm intrested. Just because of these reason I chose this college
I chose this course because I'm generally a tech freak who wants to learn about software and stuff, coding and on the other hand I also want some extra curricular activities this college provides both and this course CST mainly focus on software which I'm intrested. The teaching method of the teacher is really good although there's some teachers who can't teach properly but overall it's quite good and they're highly qualified some of them are IIT graduates. They take exams like in 1 month gap we've term 1 then term 2 them sessional then practical then main semester exam it's literally hectic.
I've not opted for any kind of internship but our college privide winter and summer internship for students. Although some of the intership is non paid that's why in college internship most students avoid
The eligibility criteria of placement is quite challenging you've to be the best to get good placement also you have to maintain a good CGPA. Amazon ,Google, TCS, Infotech, Wipro and so many other conpanies visit UEM. there's more than 70% student getting placed every year. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue for higher studies in IIT
1st semester fees 115,000 + 5000 Rupees for wbjee counselling . 2nd sem onwards it's 95000 Rupees additional 1200 Rupees semester exam fees 8000 Rupees for books 1000 Rupees for medical test 6000 Rupees for dress 3000 Rupees for shoes and if you get any backlog it's 1000 rupees also to give the backlog exam.
Although if you're upto campus and want a big campus don't join this college as it's doesn't have a big campus although all the facilities are there like labs and stuff but the campus is very smal. There are fest like Parichay, Ecstacia, Biospectrum in which we can also participate but the fests are also not quite enjoyable because of some silly rules like don't dance don't wistle etc etc. The library of our UEM is quite good and most of the books are available. In classroom there are projector a black board, speakers and microphone sometime in the recess period we enjoy a lot singing in the microphone bringing guitars and jam in the classroom it's fun. I'm not sure about the sports but there's drama club , singing club , astronomy club , dance club , robotics club , coding club and so on.
I'm not but my friend opted for hostel and from him I came to know it's expensive the food is not also very good and it's very strict also. They'll get token with which they can avail food in the canteen of our college but it's not good the other canteen on which non hosteller also can buy food is better

Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
