Remarks :
There are many factors that made me choose this college. One of them is because it is not much far from my home. The environment of the college is peaceful as it is located amidst of tea garden. Admission is also done based on WBJEE, JEE score. There is no group discussions, interviews or written tests for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as I have a strong determination to learn about science and technology. The faculty of our college is really worth it. Each of them have their unique method of teaching. The semester exams held after every 6 months and the difficulty level is quite good.
Placement Experience :
The placements and job opportunities of our college is also high. Many top recruiters from TCS, WIPRO, AMAZON, P360, GEMINI hire a large number of students from our college. The highest package achieved by our college student is 54LPA. The percentage of students getting placements from our college is quite high.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees of the course, i.e. , B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is ?6,63,000 but as I was am Ex-Techno India School student, my total fees was ?6,33,000. For any Ex-Techno India School student, there is a deduction of upto ?60,000 on the total course fee. There is no hidden fees or other fees required other than the course fee. The admission and 1st semester fees are to be paid during the time of admission, i.e. , ?83,500. The 2nd semester fees is ?71,500. The 3rd and 4th semester fees is ?76,500(each). The 5th and 6th semester fees is ?77,500(each). The 7th and 8th semester fees is ?78,500(each). Students taken admission through management category had to pay ?2,00,000 along with the course fee. Scolarships like SVMCM is eligible in our college.
Campus Life :
The campus life is peaceful and worth it. Our college conducts many fests and internal hackathons. There are a number of clubs in our college, the photography club, the chess club, the coders club, the cultural club, etc. Our campus have a basketball court, football ground, tennis court, and a games room with a number of indoor games like Table Tennis, carrom, chess, gym. The central library of our college also have a large collection of journals and books of various genres.
Hostel Facilities :
Our college doesnot have their own hostel facility but the students can get PGs and rents in around 500m of the campus. The PGs are also at affordable prices and the food quality is also good. My PG is also near to the college.

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
Jalpaiguri Institute of technology good collage but fees are high

For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
