- Well there are a lot of events to attend.
- Because of this college, I was able to make important connections with various kinds of people in my field of work.
Dislikes
- The students are biased😂. If you match their vibes, only then will they pay any attention to you.
- Faculties. Some people are outright rude to students and some even show false hope. These kinds of people make it very hard to stay in this environment.
Remarks :
It is rather easy. In an interview you will be required to showcase your portfolio and your desire of joining the college to learn. If you are able to pull that off, then congratulations. You will be accepted for sure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Game Design purely out of my own interest. I want to make a career in this field. There are not many faculty members for this course. While I was in my 2nd year, only a single teacher was teaching nearly everything to us. I am very grateful to him. When I joined, the college was rather very new. We faced a severe lack of faculties. Compared to other courses, we fell behind.
Internships Opportunities :
I did a internship at my sir's company named Unquittable Studios. It was a free internship for us to help us gain experience. I worked as a Game Designer. My friends also worked on different roles and it was a very good experience.
Placement Experience :
Well at the end of the day, placement and job opportunities aare the most important thing in a college. Sadly, in my course, that is Game design, I have not received any internships which are totally related to this field. Other courses have abundance of opportunities. Of you are planning to join then go for the other courses.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees of the course is 12,00,000. This might be subject to change. I, personally, have not availed any scholarships so I won't be able to help out in that section. Well I am an SC myself but have not used any category opportunities. So I won't be able to help out with that.
Campus Life :
Campus and social life is very nice here. Many events like freshers, cultural celebrations, parties, etc. are held all over the year. We also have a small library in which some really valuable books are kept. And honestly, they are very useful. We also recently started a extracurricular activity club which is going very well. Students are starting to show their interest in sports.
Hostel Facilities :
While I have not personally opted for a Hostel but my friends had. All you need to do is let the administration know that you are searching for a Hostel. They will surely handle everything. The food quality of the hostel is really good. It is because the hostel is connected with a very reputable restaurant.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
