Likes
- Infrastructure is decent with a good cafeteria and other shops like juice corners, junk food shop , tea shops, grilled sandwich and burger shops etc .
- Campus Life is quite enjoyable as one can participate in different activities as per their interest in their free time and the faculty is also good and quite serious about student's future
Dislikes
- Mess food is just average- good means somedays it is not enjoyable as other days
- There's a gym in our college but the hygiene isn't being maintained there as mats are lying on the floors from yearsss of being unwashed + the equipments are not suitable for beginners to start with
Remarks :
Infrastructure is good , affordable fee structure+ promises of placement will be the main reasons. Students can take admission through CUET or direct admission like I did or under PMSSS scheme. There's no special exam held by the college for admission
Course Curriculum Overview :
All Faculty members have done atleast masters as minimum qualification which is common to all . We also have phd teachers and the staff is quite experienced. Two mid semester exams are done+ one final exam is held each semester. Difficulty level is moderate
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted yet for any internship. Yet companies which come for placement drive include TATA , birla , wipro, ivy hospital, nanda hospital , flipkart, myntra , etc . Students are selected as per their performance in college and interview and then taken for internship along with which they are allowed to complete their course
Placement Experience :
Placement cell is continuously working towards the placement of students . Each year many students get placement in their respective fields as college has good tie ups with hospitals and company. The height package offered was 3 lakh to a girl of B.TECH CSE. About 60-70% students get placed each year who have applied for placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
1,10,000 per year including mess and hostel charges + uniform fees are extra ( about 3000) which is one time payment only and seperate charges for examination fees ( approx 2500 for each semester). Students mainly avail scholarship as per their state criteria from PMS or NSP . There's no special scholarship scheme from college's behalf to students
Campus Life :
Number of co curriculur activites and sports are held in college including cricket matches, football match , table tennis etc . Technical quizzes are also held . Departmental activities are held once a week . Guest lectures are also held . The main fest that is organised here is UDAAN in which different programs are held and the main event is STAR NIGHT in which a Punjabi singer is invited to perform. Library is quite good with availability of almost every book required for each course
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is provided under the college fees and it's quite affordable. Food quality is good and have a different menu for Summers and winters . Rooms are quite spacious with a balcony and ab attached washroom with geyser facility.

Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
