I take admission through a counselor, there are a lot of counselor in Jammu which provide guidance about the college and their course structure . They also help me to choose the proper course according to my interest. There is no written examination for the admission in this college and I don't have any group discussion during the admission procedure.
The faculty system is good. They teach in both hindi and english language as the college also contains the international students , so the teachers use both the languages to make it easy for all the students to understand. When we enrolled in this course we are the first batch of BSC AOTT here . So there must be little difficulty in teaching that time .
No there is not any intership program for the paramedical students so I doesn't apply for any intership. May be I can try it after my graduation but the engineering students have a lot of intership programmes every year and they also have package around 30,0000 per year.
There is no placements for paramedical students , but the engineering and BBA or other students have their placements every year . In case of paramedical students they doesn't have any collaboration with hospitals and does not have any sources for field work they only focused on theory for medical students, may be they get upgraded with time. After the graduation I may apply for training or intership in my city or may be in Amritsar. They can also provide intership if the student insist them for the intership. Every student have to give interviews for the intership if they are qualified the interview they may get the intership in different cities or even in Amritsar. The college is located on main highway so it is easy to travel because it is the main route for all buses and other transports and also there is a railway station in verka which approximately takes 10 - 15 minutes from college
I have paid Rs 3000 for registration fees and also paid Rs 3000 for uniform . Every semester I paid approximately Rs 2800 as examination fee excluding the tution fees and course fees. All this charges are increasing per year due to the autonomous status of the college and they also increase the registration fee per semester.
There are lot of extracurricular activities in this college like cricket , football, horse riding, table tennis etc. Every department have their own library, every student have different coloured id cards based on their courses. There are also a lot of fests held in the college like udaan which include star night and other performances like dance, signing and modelling. Udaan held every year in October and before udaan there is a festival name srishti which include the intercollege competition.
I live in hostel. The infrastructure of hostel is good. There is four students in one room for seniors and five students in one room for juniors .There are mainly five floors in the girls hostel. The mess food is not really good. They have a repeat menu every week. They provide milk in morning twice a week but the quality of tea and milk is very poor. The hostel feel is approximately Rs 25000 and based on the course you are indulged in . There is in timing for girls mainly form 8: 30 am to 5:30 pm in winters and 8:30 am to 7pm in summers. The boys hostel does not have any in time , they are free to go everywhere anytime. For the registration of the hostel you have to fill a registration form every semester after paying your fees.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
