I have admitted in this college through PMSSS Scheme that why I didn't face any Group Discussion, Interviews or written examination. Overall there is everything good in our college as well as in our course. All the faculty members are very kind and cooperative, they help us alot to solve any problem either it is related to our academics or other. As everything has good as well as bad aspect, our college also have some bad aspect.
All the faculty members in our college are very kind and cooperative, they help us alot to develop our personality. They also help us to solve every problem. They treat us as their children and listen very thing or any problem very carefully. Their teaching way is very good. The exam are conducted 3 times every semester (i.e. MST 1, MST 2 and Finals).
No, I have not opted for any intership till now. But I am deadly sure, through my college I will be capable to get intern in a good company. Our faculty members taken care that we have made good project so that we will be able to intern or recruit in any company easily.
The placement opportunities are also provided in our college. The placement opportunities is very good opportunity for us to get a job on campus. Our college provide placement in various companies like WIPRO, FLIPKART, MYNTRA, BIRLA GROUP and many other. The highest package of our college is RS 30,00,000 per annum. The placement opportunities provide by our college is really appreciative. It's held 2 or 3 times every year.
The annual fee of our course is 1,40,000 approximately. As I am a PMSSS Student, so I have to pay Rs 40000 only for the hostel and our academic fee is given to college by government. I have paid Rs 3000 for uniform fee, Rs 3000 as registration fee and also I have to pay approximately Rs 2850 as examination fee every semester excluding caution fees, lab fees, and others. The library fee, internet fee is paid within the college fees. As I am a scholarship student therefore my fee is less than other students of my course. Our college also provide scholarship for SC,ST students.
The life at our campus is good. Everything is fine here. But there is a bad aspect that's in and out timing of hostel for girls. The winter in timing for girls is 5:30pm and in Summer it is 7:00pm. But for boys, it is very good, there last timing to enter the hostel is 10pm. But if we take it as another perspective as our parents point of view, so we can say that they will take care of their students vey much. The main fest in our college is Udaan which is held in the month of October. Many other events are conducted every month. The library is very well-maintained. All the books are available, if any of the books are not available then another book related to that also available. Wifi service is also provided to hostelers as well as Day scholars students. The overall infrastructure is fine. Their is a shop for snacks but it was not open in girls timing.
The hostel mess infrastructure is well. But the food that they provide us is not good. The breakfast meal is still eatable but dinner is not able to eat. Menu is not changed regularly hardly they change it once in a year. Quality of their food is satisfactory. The bad aspect in our hostel is only and only our hostel food otherwise everything is very good. pg services are also available nearby the campus.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
