- Few faculties and Teachers are in the list of dislike because of their behaviour.
- Some times your classes got cancelled with out a pre notice.
Remarks :
The College is really famous for its vision and infrastructure, the other reason is because of the affordibility. The senior students are too much friendly and helpfull that we cant see usually in othe colleges
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are good and approachable as the senior students, Departmental teachers are so good and also attentive to the students, especially teachers from the Department of English. Reason to choose the course is this subject gives me permission to express myself indipendently and also taught us about the generations revelution around the world the evelution of the academics and the way we learn.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes internships are opted to many institutions internships are offered by the Private sectors to the college in which college supports them, and students get so many chances to expirience the real work life.
Placement Experience :
Students cant get placements from the institute as theres no schemes like that and its a Government aided college. My personal plan to moveto japan after completing my course and higher studies to teach English in Japanesse schools.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
4045 on the time of admission 500 for second semester Then 2069 for 3rd 2069 for 4th 2069 for 5th 2069 for 6th Before every exam a 355 will be charged as a examination fee by the university All the figures are in inr. You can be able to get scholarships according to eligibility. Concession are also available for the students with not a good financial condition, concession includes fees & railway ticket
Campus Life :
Infrastructer for the students are so good for every kind of students there are lots of things to do, college has a huge library with thousands of books from the various subjects and the various sectors with some super rare books we cant find easily. There is no hostel system but the surrounding of the college is really great.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no opted for the hostels but you can get private mess surrounding to the college at a low cost and with a good enviroment. At a walking distance there is Belur Math established by the Swami Vivekananda and other big institutes so the enviroment around is so good and appropiete for the students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
