- The batchmates in college are very friendly and it's a great experience overall .

- The campus is not well maintained like other NITs and it's a small building.
Remarks :
We have to get a top rank in Jee mains to get admission in this college, also securing a top rank decides branch you will be in. There is no other exam to be taken for this college. Cutoff is decided by the NTA agency taking jee paper based on the students sitting in this exam nearly is 92%ile for general category.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Academics of this institute are tough. You should be well prepared to tackle it. This institute follows a CGPA system of grade. The academic curriculum is not new. You should level up to the industry level and skills, if you want a better placement. Some faculties’ behavior is nice, and some might not be really friendly but if you will be nice to them then they will not trouble you.
Placement Experience :
The institute has a Placement Cell dedicated for placements, CGPA matters mainly for companies, for some companies, it is mainly 8 cgpa. The highest package reaches 50 lakhs for some and average being 10 lakhs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For general and OBC if income above rs. 5 lakh, you have to pay full amount. For general and OBC, if income is in 1-5 lakh range, 33% of total fees to be paid. If below 1 lakh, you have to pay 0 tuition fees. For Sc and st, there is full fees remission. Also we can apply for many government scholarship like from NSP portal, also private scholarships from study4buddy website. Some good private scholarships are of Reliance foundation, SBI life, Hdfc parivartan, etc.
Campus Life :
The clubs and committees take charge of the fests and activities being done. There are various clubs related to every field. You can choose the ones you want, based on what your interests are and definitely on the interview as well. The clubs and committees foster innovation, entrepreneurship, entertainment, guidance, robotics, motorsports, aviation in our institute. The infrastructure of this institute is old. New buildings are under construction. Meanwhile the lab's infrastructure also varies according to their budget and their inputs. Some new classes and buildings are also being constructed to level up the infrastructure of the institute. The healthcare facilities and sports facilities are also available.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
