The college is ranked NIRF 1 and it is self explanatory. The college provides a conducive growing environment. It provides all the amenities and the humanities courses are worthy of the fees. The education provided is of quality. The admission process is now very easy and in online mode which makes it smooth and in a one go. The admission to the college is ensured by CUET exam for both graduate and post graduation. After the exam the cutoff has to be clear for the required course and perhaps the cutoff is very high. It is one of the most renowned college and course in the DU circuit.
I chose history honours due to my invested interest. I wanted to pursue this course only from Hindu College and I'm totally satisfied with it. The faculty of the history department is very nice. All the Professors are well educated and helpful. Each professor has a distinct style of teaching but in a positive way. The internal test are taken by the teachers timely. The Semester exam takes place on time. The level of the exam is moderate. Most of the students bear good marks in exams.
I had enrolled in a unpaid internship outside college, basically in an NGO. This was solely for the purpose of gaining a first hand experience and also working for a good cause. Most of the societies provide with the intership opportunities.
My course particularly does not offer any placement opportunities but students go for intership in different fields. Many students with their merit go for being interns in various government ministries.
The fees for my course is 25000 per year. This is the only fees that is paid for the whole one year and includes the tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, among others. There is fee relaxation for students belonging to SC/ST/Orphan/Disabled Students. History Department offers a Scholarship called Raj Bhargav Scholarship to 2 students belonging to history department and other 2 form the other humanities courses. The students get a hefty amount along with a tablet or laptop. Their fees is taken care of under the Scholarship. This is for students of all the year.
The campus life is worth your years spent in this college. It has around 40 societies along with Clubs. This provides a good opportunity to build a personality with social manners. The infrastructure of the college is up to the mark. The annual fest of Hindu College is called Mecca and is one of the most awaited gets in DU circuit. Mega stars come to perform every year. The alumni bas is also very strong. The library is equipped with all the book, journal, newspaper, magazine, etc. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors. Sports and extracurricular activities in the campus takes place throughout the year. There are various college teams like that of Cricket, Basketball, etc.
The hostel seat is given on the basis is highest marks and all the department students are there. Altogether the seats are very less and competitive. I could get the hostel but my friends who got the hostel are provided with all the facilities. The rooms and mess is very good. the rooms are equipped with AC as well. The food served is of the variety and quality. The girls hostel is the only functional hostel and boys hostel is under construction.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
