The cutoff is quite high for our college for BA as well as Bsc. Courses. The admission process is very simple and most of it happens online without any problem.The criteria is to appear in CUET and atleast 60% marks in 12th boards in any stream.The students have to appear for particular subjects which are required for those courses.
Faculty members are really very approachable to the students. Their friendly behaviour and expertise is worth mentioning.The teaching methods of the teachers is very good. Exams are according to the university timetable and have a considerable level of hardness which allows all kinds of students to showcase their knowledge.
Not yet but companies like HDFC, Maruti Jaypee etc. offers internships. Also international companies like Deloitte offers internships with stipend and various projects ,tasks and opportunities in various fields.
Placement cell of Hindu is very active and has collaborated with various companies like Deloitte,HDFC, Jaypee etc. The highest package is about 15LPA and students involved in more societies and internships have a high chance of getting placements.
The per year fees is around 29000 and total fee for the 3-year course is about 1.6 lakhs. The fees doesn't differ much for categories. A variety of scholarships are available which will be shared with the students in their first semester only. For example: Raj Bhargava Scholarship for BA. Students.Then for topper of every semester Scholarships are given.Students from economically weaker backgrounds special scholarship is given to waive off their fees.
The campus is very overwhelming with the fest and events with huge budgets taking place. The libraries are always available and is accompanied with all required books and journals for students. The sports complex is great with basketball courts, volleyball court and all the sports items. There are 40+ societies in the college which gives the students a lot exposure to various activities and boost their confidence.
Hindu only has a girls hostel but the availability of hostel is very limited. But the premises and food is very good. It is very near to college and is maintained by the college administration.To apply for the hostel, girls need to fill a form which will be circulated in the whatsapp group also available on the website after confirmed admission and could be submitted online on the given email.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
