Remarks :
Admission process direct admission. I choose this college due to the placement that the college provides. Many companies arrive here to give placement but the selection rate is not very high. And also it is affiliated from makaut university which is a good university but it's examination pattern is very bad, many out of syllabus question comes in the examination per year and many students face backlogs in every examination. Over all the college is good
Course Curriculum Overview :
Many seminars are being held and the many additional courses are also being thought such as ai and certificates are also proved after complition of the particular course. Many more workshops are also held here regularly to huid us for our future. Faculty of my department are not that good. Some teachers are good which help you but some are not. Overall you can not understand many things and can also not pass the examination by only studing in the college you have to do it yourself.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fee per year is 110000 and a panelty fee of rs500 is added per week if not paid on time. Development fee 8250 per semester. Sports fee 500 pet sem. Library fee 6000 taken once and 5000 alumuny fee in the final semester.
Campus Life :
Campus is fully wifi campus but sometimes it's speed decreases and sometimes it not function properly. Not very big campus. There are 2 libraries in the college many books are also available in the library but some books are not in good condition. Indoor Sports complex is also available here which provides some indoor games such as tt carom pool and badminton.. many clubs are also there in college but they are not very active.. over all campus is not big but there are many things for students.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
