- I have liked the campus area, which is a very huge area. The libraries are well to good and the interactions with new people day by day, improved my communication and my public speaking, making me from. introvert to extrovert.
- Another thing I would like to conclude that. the places in the Durgapur is very much safe for females and males as well. Inside the campus there at James indoor games, outdoor games fests, extra curriculum activities, which help. me to improve my communication skills, public speaking and making me corporate day by day.
Dislikes
- The campus classrooms are spoiled and not well maintained. from the past several years, the toilets are not enough Could not maintain and clean the properly regularly. The students over here studying in my college is quite aggressive. They don't listen what the teachers are saying. They just argue over the thoughts of their own. which wins the surrounding of the environment. They are likely to be a parental category. From outside the infrastructure is good, but from inside, if you pass through the Gate No 5 it will be Horrible as the roads and the streets inside the campus is not. developed properly till yet in 2025 . The faculties are not that much qualified to deal students like us. They are. all freshers hired over our college.
- Another major thing to be noted is the hostel facilities, which is. not good for a student to survive as the food provided by the hostel authorities is horrible and they are charging a high amount for a single room which consists of four beds and four students. and not affordable for many of the middle class students who want to come and enjoy and study in the campus like this.
Remarks :
The major factors that made me choose this college was the 25 years of excellence tag. But another major point. which was the excellent faculty to student ratio, which was maintained from the past 15 years, which is 280 Modern mode experience teaches are here for a good upbringing of a student's career. Good intensive divisions are there. Many departments like BMLT , Software Processing, Voice Processing, Hospitality Management and other departments which provide to the source of high funded industries also present. Another major point is the fee structure for these colleges way too much load, rather than comparing with other colleges like Techno India, Solid and Bibs, India. This college is providing good infrastructure with a good quality of surface in the education sector, enhancing the carrier of the students.

Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I've opted for an intensive in Medanta Hospital. which is located in Delhi Gurgaon. On behalf of the college nose stipends over given ant an amount of rupees, 2 lakh for my internship expenses, renting a house, having my own food, the traveling cost of all or beard my me. which is very expensive for a students to stay outside and the college authority was not taking any responsibility as I mailed the college authority.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for the placement is that the student applying for the placement drive should not be having any backlog in a single. internships are provided to big peak companies like Apollo Medanta, Max and Fortis Healthcare. But this college does not provide any stipends to any of the students. The highest percentage of students getting. placement is only 18% and the highest package offered by the college is only 2,00,000 per annum. My plans after getting a degree is to start my own business to grow Myself in the field of healthcare. And I'm thinking that I'll be starting my own pharmacy, which. is a very demanding. in my area and town as my hometown is in Bakura. and in Bakura, the health care accessibility is very much low.

Campus Life :
Well, the campus life at NSA knowledge campus, Durgapur is well enough and good, but the classrooms are not well maintained, although they have the projectors for the purpose of presenting a PPT or any other document. But the infrastructure of the buildings. From outside is well good and inside while entering the classroom. The infrastructure is not that much of well maintained. The toilets and the other classrooms are way too much dirty and spoiled. Seems like lack of maintenance is there. The availability of books and journals in the libraries is good, but not updated. Each. and every year we have some sports culture and extracurricular activities like in 2025. We are going to have the BLITZ ceremony. Our campus does not have any type of social group clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I have applied for the hostel, but the infrastructure of the hostel is not that much good. The washrooms are not cleaned properly. The beds and the inner hostel rooms which are provided by the hostel authority is not well maintained. And most of the bets are broken. Yeah, the hostel campus is very good. The students are also very good over here But the prosperity and the peace a student needs to study is not painted in this environment.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
