In this college, this is better for gate exam . Many students crack gate exam and addmission in top IIT, NIT and IISC and placed PSUs like bark , ISRO;. And placed in many top private companies like TCP cagnizant , microsoft, etc . Addmission process is based on WBJEE COUNSELLING

Course are available in cgec are cse, ece, ee, me &ce. Academics is modarate and facultis are very experienced and very good teaching quality. Hod of ece department dr palash das sir is an iitian. He is the backbone of our department.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes intership is alvialable. And some internships are given by college tpo . Facultis are very supportive for internship and all . Every year many students are going for internship. Internship persentage in 78% every year
Placement Experience :
Placement is good . 80%students are placed every year. And gate qualified students are going to top IIT, NIT and IISC . And every year some students are placed in psus and railway and other government sector
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly 12000 tuition fees i.e, per semester 6000 rs for only CSE and ECE department. And ME, CE, EE semester fees are 3000 per semester , yearly 6000 . There are 4 boyes hostel and 1 girls hostel . And hostel fees are 12900 per semester both hostels
Campus Life :
Campus Life is very good and campus is very dig like 21 acors. There are very big playground, badminton court etc. senior junior relationship is very good . Ragging free campus .. seniors are very supportive than other college. Student and faculty realation is also very good
Hostel Facilities :
There are totally 5 hostels, 4 hostels are for boys and 1 hostel is for girls. 2 persons can reside in a single room. Food quality is also good. Per semester you have to pay Rs. 12900/- for facilitate hostels.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES

The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
