- Faculty is good and focuses on every individual students.
- Classroom in so big that we can actually sleep on benches.
Dislikes
- There is always dust on the class room except for the first 3 or 4 benches.
- College need be decorated and there should be more plants.
Remarks :
Yes, I and my friends decided to pursue Graduation and we search for a pocket friendly college and find out our college which was not so far from our home. But the sad part is that they didn't give marks in internal. But all was good.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I was good in english. Ky score in school time in english was good but I realised in college that the english I knew in school time was good but now it's hard I am unable to complete with other.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet but some of my friends have doing internship and they also share there experience. It's not hard to achieve you just have to focus what you are studying because from there you can understand many theories, Critical analysis and many things.
Placement Experience :
Im pursuing a academic subject so there is no placements for us but you can write reasearch paper with the knowledge you gain during your graduation and that helps a lot for you future studies or interview in other colleges for faculty professor after Completing passing MA and NET.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
There were six semesters in BA and it costed me around Rs 3000 per semester including along all expenses for a semester . And I was unaware of Scholarship so I couldn't get and I regret on . I had enough marks to fill the given criteria.
Campus Life :
Campus is big but they don't actually allow all to go to the play ground area. But we can freely roam everywhere. You you want to go to play ground you have to be admitted in sports club. There are also other clubs like singing dancing music arts etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Since my home is near the college I don't need to avail for hostel but some of my friends lives in hostel so I have visited and its not so bad. It Clean but one has to share with 2 others and canteen food for hostel is also good. They have weekly food chart.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
