Remarks :
It is a reputed college under Kazi Nazrul University, Asansol, West Bengal. The professors are very good, understanding and helpful. There is no GD or PI, we just have to think about the cut-off which is not so high.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is very good, timely exams are taken and timely results are also published. The professors guided us during the internals exams. The professors are knowledgeable, they are experts in their fields.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no intership opportunities provided or available in this college, if anyone wants to do any intership they have to find it by their own either from online applications or websites or from visiting any local workplace.
Placement Experience :
The college do not provide any placements or job opportunities, even if we are lucky the only job opportunity that we get from the college placement is salesman. So, Iam doing my masters from Calcutta University without seating in any placement opportunities in my college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Admission Fees-2,570 Academic Enrolment-300 Exam Enrolment-200 Vivekananda Scholarship can also be availed, in which a student will get upto Rs. 15,000 scholarship. So ultimately all the college expenses will be covered.
Campus Life :
Every year on January social fest is organised and many sports events are also conducted during the rest of the year like inter-college basketball tournament on November. There is a mid-size library in our college campus.
Hostel Facilities :
This college do not provide any boys or girls hostel but there are rented rooms and PG available at affordable price near the college. The foods are also good in these PGs. It is a walking distance from the PG to the college.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
