- I like the environment and how everyone from different social lives and personalities come together. Theres plenty socialising and plenty of experiences to learn from. The societies the sport teams. The people u meet are all great.
- The teaching staff is also very helpful and obviously very well qualified. The amenities provided and the facilities are no less. Theres 2 canteens,gym a big auditorium. A large field,basketball courts, open auditorium, small gardens, in campus amenities shop and so much more
Dislikes
- What i do dislike is that we dont really get vacations that often. While everyone from other universities may be enjoying their holidays we would either have exams or classes
- Another thing to dislike is the attendance criteria being a student whose interests also align with other extra curricular activities the attendance criteria should be removed leaving more room for social interests or self study
Remarks :
It is the number one ranked in the country right now. I only had to apply for CUET and got in based on my marks. I scored 764 which is faud for st categories. THE CUTOFF FOR HINDU IS EXTREMELY HIGH Especially for history and pol sc honours
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have always been particularly startstruck by historians and their thirst to know the unknown. My teaching faculties are well over qualified with some being direct students of great historians and some with foreign degrees even phds. I had my first term recently. The exam level was fair and simple. Very learning too
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I paid 26,870rs on admission which comes around 107,480 since im doing 4 years. There are plenty scholarships to name but one thats very bountiful would be the Raj bhargava scholarship which gets u a scholarship yearly and a foreign trip
Campus Life :
Life at campus is fun. More fun than staying in actually. There are plenty societies to join for according to ur interests. Theres plenty fests and events that take place a day or the other. One specific fest in hindu college would be the Mecca- which is preferably Delhi Universitys biggest fest. Also theres more than enough room for sports- mer personally being in the college football team. Theres also a gym and plenty more. Even the libraries are full of ambience although mostly packed- theres a variety of books to choose from

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
