The tech and coding culture motivated me t join this college. This college has a strong hold in research field. The research conducted are one of the best in the country. Research culture also made me to choose this college. The best thing about this college is the faculty and friendly environment among seniors and junior, no ragging, tech and industry oriented courses. The bad thing is just the high amount of fess and too many assignments and exams, which makes us to get less time for other things to explore apart from academics and tech courses. The reservation for the Delhi students also hurts a lot. They get seat at much lower rank in JEE than outside Delhi students. The admission is on the basis of JEE Main rank through JAC Delhi Counselling Process. JEE ranks cutoff varies from categories of students they belong. I just prepared for JEE exam for admission in this college.
The courses are mostly tech and industry oriented. The courses if followed properly, help to develop problem solving skills in tech field. The faculty are all PhD from IITs and from foreign universities. Exams are held two times a semester(mid semester and end semester exams). However, there are also quizzes and graded labs in many courses that will be counted on evaluation of final CGPA. The difficulty level of the exams increases exponentially as we go through a semester and increases steeply from one semester to other semester.
There are many internship opportunities that our college give. I am in first year, so i have not such opportunities, But you can visit the IIITD website to get insight of all these information related to internships. But I know that all the top companies visit college for interns in there company. Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Uber, Ola, etc. are such companies. The major projects held are related to the development of AI and other Semiconductor development projects, projects related to biology and engineering, projects related to tech and designs, etc.
The criteria to sit in the placement process is minimum of 6.5 CGPA before the placement season. Almost all the top companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Uber, Qualcomm, comes to college as recruiter. Numbers of offers are regularly updates on the website. The highest package goes over 1Cr and the average package i s around 20 lakhs. Almost 100 placement in CSE and CSAI branch. And about total of 95 percent placements overall including Btech, Mtech and PHd students.
Year-wise tuition fees is as follows: 1st year: 4.5 lakhs 2nd year: 4.75 lakhs 3rd year: 5 lakhs 4th year: 5.3 lakhs Alumni fees: 2000 Security fees(refundable): 10000 Hostel and Mess fees combined: 45000(approx.) There is no separate fees structure for Management , SC, ST, or any other category
There is a fest named "Odyssey" that occur every year in the month of January and February. The library is full of all kinds of books and journal. You can get any book on any topic in the library. The classrooms are well designed and are equipped with modern teaching methods like smart board and projector. There are AC and heaters also in the classes. There are many sports events that happen in out college every semester. There is a sports event called 'KARVAAN' is held in January. There are many different clubs, like tech clubs, coding clubs, dance clubs, act clubs, cooking clubs, etc. Almost all the clubs are run by students themselves. There are clubs like, Foobar(coding club), Electrohaulic(electronics club), Madtoes(dance club), Salt n Pepper(cooking club), etc. There is a body known as E-CELL which is run by students and promotes entrepreneurship.
The food quality of the mess is better than most of the colleges in India. Proper hygienic food is provided in the mess. The mess menu is shared on the mail every month. The menu has almost all the north Indian dishes along with some south Indian dishes too. Non veg food is served separately in the mess. The hostel registration starts just after you show the acceptance letter from the JAC Delhi Counselling processing the last round. The hostels are expensive to me but they maintain the quality of facilities provided in the hostels. There may be many PG and rent rooms available around the college. I have not explored much. The hostel infrastructure is one of the best in the country.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
